The RIPTIDE 6” Sinking stickbait is an ideal casting lure for Yellowtail, Tuna, Kingfish and Stripers. It has been designed to be worked in a variety of retrieval styles and also shimmies on the drop mimicking a wounded baitfish. The placement of the internal weights also means that when twitched in a “walk the dog" style retrieve, it has an incredible side-to-side action, turning nearly 180° when twitched. It can be fished fast or slow, in rough or calm water and is a hugely versatile lure.
Designed and tested in Australia by the Nomad Sportfishing Team, Nomad Design lures are not only super tough and durable, but also feature unique colours and most importantly unique and highly effective shapes and actions. The ultimate internal strength designed for big fish. Features a uniquely designed stainless steel plate in the body mold of the lure. The plate is fused into the lure with a series of small holes at critical locations in the plate, allowing the molded plastic to weave through
the plate and create the ultimate in strength.
Normal plastic was simply not strong enough for our lures, so we designed a special formula of High Density ABS plastic, which is a white colour, and is ultimately stronger than other plastics used for lure production. These lures also feature a thicker wall construction,
meaning ultimate strength and durability.
We ensure that the painting process and the quality of the finish on all lures is protected and likely to last longer by applying 3 final coats of a super tough clear resin to the outside of all lures. It provides additional colour depth and ensures that the finish on your lure will last longer.
