Nomad Displays at RISAA New England Saltwater Show

Nomad Displays at RISAA New England Saltwater Show

Nomad Design Tackle made a triumphant post Covid return to the Saltwater Consumer Show circuit, at the RISAA New England Saltwater Show held on March 11-13 in Providence Rhode Island. We put together a fun, open booth displaying all Nomad’s new products as well as our legacy lures like DTX Minnow, Madmacs, and Streaker Jigs. All of which were met with much enthusiasm from New England’s saltiest fishermen and women.

There were three stars of the show that kept people talking about Nomad. The Flying Fish, new Inshore Lures, and Vertrex Vibe series saw angler after angler stop in their tracks and immediately start asking questions.

This was the first time anglers were able to see the Slipstream Flying Fish in person and it was a huge hit. All three sizes of Slipstream and their replacement Wing Kits were on display and it was a lot of fun to listen to stories about flying fish and discussing ways to fish this unique lure.

Second was the Vertrex Vibe series. This little soft rubber through-wire wonder continues to catch everything that swims. Anglers from offshore to inshore to freshwater, either had stories of catching great fish on our Vibes or told us where they were going to go fish them this year. Pro Staffer Matt Perrachio of Tighten Up Charters, a Tuna obsessed Captain, cannot wait to use them to imitate Butter Fish and this was not the only time we heard that over the weekend.

Third was our new line of inshore hard lures. The Madscad Autotune and Maverick 90 Autotune both caught the attention of Sod Stompers and flats Striper anglers whilst the Shikari series made visions of Spearing jump through back bay guy’s heads.

Anglers got excited about our Lure Rolls which feature an innovative pocket that allows you to neatly tuck away your pre-rigged lures and leader. Our line of purpose built rods garnered a ton of attention and we enjoyed the back work out! Lastly, we had fun talking about our Slidekick lure.

There was certainly a lot to talk about this year. The crowds were clearly happy to be back to the Show and as we move down to Edison Saltwater Show next week we can only anticipate more Show Season excitement.  See you there!
